The CIPFM as an international professional organisation offers courses leading to the award of its certification as well as offers direct membership to qualified professionals whose learning has been adjudged to have met our basic requirements through exemption.
The CIPFM has been able to successfully create awareness on the role of a chartered financial manager CFM within the global business community. The CIPFM membership base include top management executives whose organisations are listed in the Fortunes 500 including professionals from public service and has a global membership strength of over 250,000.
Associate Chartered Financial Manager ACFM
Candidates that are admitted to this grade of membership should hold CIPFM certifications in financial management with 10 years relevant professional experience. Those approved qualifications under our reciprocal membership scheme and other qualifications based on their merit.
Candidates not meeting our basic requirements shall submit a mini thesis on any aspect of finance for evaluation

Fellow Chartered Financial Manager FCFM
This is the highest grade of professional membership being offered by the CIPFM and those admitted onto this grade should have attained a high level of academic and professional experience in business. Candidates should have over 15yrs relevant financial management experience or similar role and are in position of leadership in their organizations. Professionals holding membership of our affiliated bodies under our reciprocal membership scheme. This grade is also reserved for senior executives in the financial service industry or other senior management roles in both
public & private sectors

Honorary Fellow Chartered Financial Manager HonFCFM
The Institute recognizes the achievements of business leaders and professionals including those in public office and bestow this award in recognition of their achievements and leadership. They may not necessarily be finance managers for them to earn this award
Members wishing to study for our Chartered Financial Manager’s course and Diploma in Financial Management course receive appropriate discounts. This also includes CIPFM events and seminars affording members to network and share ideas.
We offer members assistance on any technical issues or challenges relating to their work or study for free. We offer free consultations on any issues affecting members. Members are offered advisory services on how to secure better job offers.
We offer members opportunity to publish their work, articles and technical papers on our quarterly journal thereby gaining the needed recognition thereby enhancing their professional development. Our journal

Forming local chapters
Members have the opportunity of forming local chapters or serving as representatives of the institute in their area. Local chapters will organize events, seminars etc on to promote the institute and its activities.
